This
groovy instrument is now becoming more and more popular even amongst drummers
because of some similarities between Drums and Bass, and because it helps to
have a basic understanding of what the other is doing.
Being a stereotipically "background"
instrument, the Bass Guitar (and its player...) is often taken for granted
in most bands - but that's all about to change!
We are giving all wannabe bassists the chance to step out of their shell and
work with drummers to claim the rhythm section in any band..!
As in the Guitar Lessons, once
the basics are covered students are encouraged to bring along their own music
which they are taught to play and understand, thus keeping the lessons interesting
and promoting versatility.
